Joy - who so far has scored 100% on almost every spelling test in first grade - decided to make a list of all the animals she could think of. We thought we'd share the list. You can click on the picture above for a larger view.

this is funny! we loved it! my favorite was okdopus and grandma's was egle segl. we couldn't figure out what barey was. was it just bear? keep posting! these posts are awesome!
I love it! When I taught school, I hated doing spelling tests exactly for this reason--spelling in real life is completely disconnected from spelling tests. The ONLY reason I did them was because parents expected them and complained to the principal when I didn't do them! So good for Joy for getting 100%, and good for her for writing such a great animal list. Give her two completely disconnected high fives for her accomplishments. Glad you're blogging!
